genuine question. i see all these TC threads with people making 300-500k+. after rent, food, and maxing 401k... what do you spend it on?
i make 310k and i honestly dont know what to do with the excess. i buy the same shit from amazon i bought when i made 80k. i eat at the same restaurants. i wear the same clothes.
it just sits in a brokerage account growing and i feel nothing about it

this is the FIRE mindset talking and its not healthy. you can save for retirement AND enjoy your money now. buy nice things. take cooking classes. get a personal trainer. invest in experiences

real estate. bought a rental property. now the money works even when i sleep. also its something tangible unlike watching a number go up on a screen
