9-6 job. by the time i commute home, eat dinner, and decompress its 8pm. i have maybe 2 hours before i need to sleep.
and people are out here doing leetcode, building side projects, going to the gym, maintaining friendships, dating, cooking healthy meals, AND keeping a clean apartment?
how. legitimately how. i can barely function as a human being with a full time job.

the secret is that nobody is doing all of those things. the people who leetcode dont cook. the people who gym dont have side projects. everyone is picking 2-3 and letting the rest slide. social media makes it look like people do everything

have you been screened for depression? genuinely asking. when i felt like this it turned out i was clinically depressed. after medication and therapy i had way more energy. just something to consider

morning person here. i wake up at 5:30, gym from 6-7, shower and eat, work 8:30-5. evenings are for cooking and socializing. the trick is doing the hard stuff before work when your willpower is full

i work remote and this is exactly why ill never go back to an office. saving 2 hours of commute per day gives me back 10 hours a week. thats a whole extra day of life

the answer is money. people with energy after work have cleaners, meal prep services, laundry services. they outsource the life maintenance so they can spend time on growth. if you cant afford that, youre stuck doing it all yourself and yeah, theres no time left
