spent a summer there. some observations:
- the interviews are as hard as people say. pure problem solving, no leetcode patterns
- compensation is absurd. intern comp was higher than most peoples full time salary
- the culture is genuinely intellectual. people discuss math puzzles at lunch for fun
- work hours are market hours (8am-5pm) plus maybe an hour of prep
- its very homogeneous. mostly ivy league math/cs/physics majors
- everyone is scary smart

the "everyone is scary smart" part is what gets me. must be intimidating

"very little diversity" doing a lot of work here. any thoughts on why?

the work hours being normal is surprising. is the work itself stressful?
